Why not? I think that would be cool.

Yeah well good for you for not being stupid and committing her. Catering is no small time job. T'ain't like throwing together a green salad, some cold fried chicken and some paper plates. there's a lot of work involved here. Plus...if someone gets food poisoning or chokes on a chicken bone...uh-oh....who do you think might have to take the heat for that? Bet it won't be your boss or the company.
Thank your boss and be sure you'll tell him that he complimented your wife's culinary abilities. I myself gourmet cook and nothing makes a cook happier when people compliment their art.
Tell your boss to have it catered by a local outfit. Safer and less work for the bride. Want 'em to have her cooking? Invite people over for a small social gathering at your place when the weather gets warmer. Have everyone bring a dish. Prior to their bringing something make it know exactly what your wife will be preparing so there will be no duplication.
Have fun and bon appetite.

My guess is that it would be up to your wife!! She may be flattered silly and want to do it. Heck, it could be a side job and help to pay bills. Just depends on if she'd like to put herself through all the hassle and work that goes along with catering a larger party. ASK YOU WIFE before you tell the gent (boss or not) no. If your wife then says no, you will have no problem going back to your boss with the results. Let him know she has decided to keep her cooking skills to herself (and you of course).

You know the secret about cinnamon rolls; breads and just the smell don't you? Will if not that’s how she caught you.
You love her and she loves you, you don't own here and she owns half of you just the way it works. Let you boss ask her himself and if she say yes, then be happy someone other then you likes her cooking maybe she'll be you something special with the money or you two could take a nice vacation somewhere together.
But never answer for her if she finds out dude you will be in some hot water out in the doghouse.
Good luck and happy eating

I think you should ask your wife's opinion on the matter you never know you might score kudo's with the boss and your wife may enjoy the experiance also everyone could use extra money charge for time and supplies just like everyone else. There is quite a bit of money in catering. Think about it and ask her.

What does your wife want to do? Maybe she'd enjoy catering the party and, who knows, it may create some opportunities for her. If she's not interested, just tell your buddy/boss that she's unavailable that date.

I think that you should be proud of your wife's cooking that she now has the opportunity to show off her cooking for your boss and co-workers. I really think you should let your wife show her expertise. I think that's great that you have a wife who not only cooks for you, but can make a great meal for everyone too. You need to support her with that and just be there for her. She will do great!

If you want to kiss a$$ to your boss, go ahead and do it. You will score points with him. Afterall, he is your buddy. But, if you really don't want to, make up something like she doesnt have the time or she's out of town that day.

LOL! UR funny. But I swear-DON"T just love for the food. I am I girl-and I know everything to help.First of all, when it comes to relationships-a woman/girl-wants you to love her for her and love her as in her personality-honesty-peace and understanding-and maybe-help out with the cooking-it can turn out awsome. Just ask her about it and tell her about this. I know it's hard-im sure-but we don't got it easy ither dude! LOL!( lots of laughs) And second-think about this-if you start cooking with her-she'll love you even more for that-not only you get to gain trust-action-and so much more you and her have to offer AND spend time with each other-boom-there's your chicken! You get food too! LOL! ( laugh out loud) I swear. If you need anymore advice-im here!

You asked a Marriage and Divorce question. You already got married. There's only one thing left for you to do.
Take advantage of it; you can get a raise and get rid of your problems both in one shot.
