Why do African-Americans put each other down when they're trying to better themself?

Because they wish they could do the same. but lack the will and determination to do it. what they fail to realize is that in this life, here on this earth that you have to go for what you know. Keep your head to the sky and your eye on the prize. No man can hinder me. Focus, Focus,Focus

That is a great question. I believe like most people in a group that See's someone in that group try to better themselves, they tend to realize that there is a way out of the group. This would cause a fault line to develope in the group. Control of what others think may tend to break down. The leadership of the group would worry that their control would wain. This is why the poor stay poor, then ignorant stay ignorant and they group put the ones down that try to leave. The group as a whole needs the group survive, if one breaks away to better oneself then the group as a whole can not control that individual. Much like the Democratic thoughts of the left. It takes a village to raise a child. Instead it takes a Parent or Parents to raise a child. The Group need everyone to be the same and less than the individual so the Group puts any individual success in a terrible light and preaches failure of the individual to the group. It is in the best interest of the Group and Group leaders to have the group look to them not to the individual.

Im not african american but I live around them and I have seen that attitude..I have been in many countries..before coming to usa, and I can say that blacks here are more agressive and hate more than any other black men in the world,perhaps is the way they became after the oppression from whites..its sad when south america got independence they were free like us.,.perhaps they are not the majority so they forced themselves to get educated and they still struggle to get a high position in our societys and they are more respected than what blacks are here..here blacks demand respect with violence and terror..being bullies terrorizing other kids.. and killing each others..they hate..if they see their own kind doing good they take them down..I cant believe the hate exist between the rapers ,,their own kind killing and hating each other that doesnt occur between latinos and white singers..so much crime in this community and they have the same oportunities or even more than white pople have..they call themsleves with the " n: word..that sounds really ugly..I dont hear any hispanic calling other speks..the jails are full of black males..most of them behave aggressive.. and hate and give a lot of attitude to whoever is not black..why?? nowadays the racism is not that strong as it was 40 years ago.. my whife is black and comes from a decent family..but the stereotype that black people has made it hard for my family to accept her until they got to know her... the problem is not the color is what they do and how they behave..very few black people can call themselves african american with pride..they hate even their own kind..put down and disrespect their women..and they like it..I have seen that..its so funny when i see little kids calling the girls " hey shorty come over here i want to talk to u" I laugh my ***.. I cant believe ..actually some girls are that chicken heads that smile and go to them.. that only happens in black community..if they are poor.. they want to be rich without struggle ,either drugs or robbing and killing people..its sad..and when one of their own kind is doing god they hate and may be kill him..something like that happen to a nice guy i met..his wife was a nurse and he was doing god in his job,, they were humble decent they didn t show off..they started dressing their kids nice. and finally got a new car,, and they shot the guy and almost killed him..decent family no drug problems..I cant belive it..and I hate when I see a big black guy coming to me..looking healthy asking me for a dollar..I work for that. I wont give them any.. they just became lazy and somehow belive society got to pay them back.. for how long???they always expect everything for free?? why? nothing is for free.. and they should be more united and tolerant..cause violence generate more violence ... and start going both ways..
