emotions like lust or being disgusted can lead you down the wrong path. Plus too much pride is what messes you up at times. You donut think clearly when your mad/ And some people kill themselves because they're sad.

Emotions are most likely nothing more than instinctual feelings being blown out of proportion due to the human ability to think and conceptualize with words. For our ancestors, they served a strong purpose, but for us, it certainly makes us weak and leads us to error.

I think some make us stronger and others make us weaker, but we have to learn from the weaker one's and become even stronger. Stronger emotions would be good emotions like happy, kindness, spirtuality, love ect. Weak emotions would be like sad, angry, hatred, too much pride like you said...ect.

Our emotions are NOT our decision-making ORGAN!! Thank goodness!! They are simply physiological reactions to situations. It is up to our MIND-SELF-JUDGMENT to assess the degree of danger, etc. Our own Mind's judgment tempers the emotions/environments stimuli!! The person who acts only upon emotions is subject to every whim of people or circumstances!! Children desperately need help in understanding their feelings and in developing their own judgment abilities!!!!

an emotionless person would be a robot.
lust, pride, greed, are all natural and normal. you cannot stop them (why would anyone want to?) but you can control them.
without a little bit of light lust, what would drive people to want to be together with the opposite sex...... the human race would not survive.

emotions are amazing! its great to be a human being and be able to go thru stuff that makes you stronger emotionally and more able to deal with your pain

I think emotions are what make us storng. Take ambition if no one had any the world as we know it would not be here.
