any dry skin secrets?

hey guys I live in Az and lately my skin has been sooooo dry anyone have any ideas I've used numerous lotions. With no luck (it's mostly my facial skin thats overly dry.) I'm not dehydrated I drink tons of water and gatoraid...Please help...

I had the same problem & here are some tips that helped me!
- Dont use harsh soaps. Use a soft body wash like Dove or Aveeno.
- Dont shave your legs every day.
- Drink plenty of water. (If you dont like water then juice is fine)
- Put baby oil on your skin right before you get out of the shower.
- Get a good lotion for use in the mornings & during the day. And put it on whenever you think you need it.
- At night before you go to bed put some vaseline on & leave it over night. You might think its greasy feeling & not good for your skin but its good for your skin & it will soak into your skin over night & when you wake up you will have soft, moisturized skin!
- Also you might want to get a humidifier to put in your room.

And there you go! Within a week or two if you follow all of these rules you will have great, moisturized skin! I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

I had the same problem after a recent vacation. I apply baby oil to my skin in the shower and then when I am done in the shower I apply baby lotion- it cleared it up in a couple of days. For my face, I use a moisturizer from Ponds.

I used to live in prescott arizona and my gosh it is harsh, I started using a skin care line that works great for that weather, there is a moisturizer that is called arbonne intelligence skin care line
