I think we are.

Q1: Why?
A:Because we know all the facts that regardless of sex, age, nation, whatever you name it, people are all interested in sex with some minor exceptions. There would have been no world if people had not shown any interest in sex from the very ancient time. And due to the development of media sources, one can easily has access to any sort of sex material nowadays.

Q2 : The cause of this increase in behaviour.
A: I would say it's mostly due to the media, including printings, the internet, DVD & Video and everything. Until a decade ago, people did not have many accesses to the material relating sex in their daily life. They could only have their sexual stimulating materials from the direct forms of human beings or some sort of dirty paintings which were not so elaborated those days. So people had to put up with the things they could reach.

Q3:What advantages/ disadvantages has it caused?
A:I think it has caused both of them.

[Advantages]
1)I think the flood of sex materials in the world is, in a way, acting as a deterrent to sex crimes. This inference can be applicable mainly for the normal grown-up adults who still have sexual desires. In the old days, those might have caused a lot of trouble with opposite sex in society.
2)I think the sex affluent society is partly acting as a kind of "sex education" for the younger generations nowadays. It maybe serving the "not-always-right-but-the-basic" knowledge of sex to them.

[Disadvantages]
1)In my opinion, the disadvantages are far bigger than the advantages. The sex obsessed society nowadays is giving much harm to the people in the world. The more sex materials one nation has, the more decadent it gets in the sense of human virtue, I think.

2)The main harm of sex flood is the influence of it upon the younger generations. It may sounds inconsistent to what I mentioned above, but what I mean here is the degree and the contents of sex materials that can be accessible to the growing children or youngsters. Due to the influence on the innocent children, not a few of children may have distorted or perverse ideas to sex. If fact, this can leads to some dreadful crime cases these days. I think it is no exaggeration to say that these crimes are the result of sex materials such as porn movies and such.

[Further comments]

I personally think we should control the degree and the contents of sex materials in the world.
I also think that the amount and the content of sex materials accessible to the younger generations should be more carefully and firmly controlled.

I don't think we are in a sex obsessed world... Yes there is a lot of inuendos with everything, but at the end of the day, we have been built with unstopable hormones which determine how we act, and how we survive; and especially breed.
I do think that products or ideas being sold with sex, is overdone in a way, but I'm not saying I disagree with it.
The thing is with humans, is that at one end of the scale you'll be getting the people who don't find what we advertise constantly appropriate. But everyone has sex, it's something which is supposed to be 'natural', if done with consent.
But I don't care if people won't like this; it doesn't matter whether you are a hormone raging teen, or are from the older generations, there is one thing which we think about more often then we like to admit..
I wish that the older people would wise up, and stop labeling sex as inappropriate; you did it when you were young, and it doesn't exclusively have to include love, i believe half the time it's for pleasure... And of course there is a natural and common reason for intercourse, which is of course reproduction.
The reason now in the 21st C people advertise and talk about sexual things more, is because it's more exceptable now, instead of taboo. we aren't more obsessed, or at all, it's just that we are more open.
I believe this could be a good thing in one way, because there is more sexual equality, and a chance for young people (adolescent's) to talk openly. But at the other end, young children may be exposed to quickly to things which their brain isn't developed or equiped to store or understand yet.

Yes I do think we are sex obsessed because the good Lord when he invented us had to have us reproducing and he made a darn good job of it....too good in fact. I believe there now to be a decrease in sexual behaviour and I think this may be the natural way of limiting the population in a crowded world. If this is so we might one day all lose our sex drives. This is not a joke or a joke answer

Yes, we are. It's all over the place. Television, newspapers, books, etc. There are no advantages to sex other than making babies. The world has taken something so special between two people and made it something that everyone should have. It's a sad shame. Thank you and may GOD come soon to correct the wrong in this world.

Of course we are. The basic desire of every living thing on the planet is to reproduce. The media uses this fact to sell us stuff - we always will be obsessed about sex, just now the media makes us realise it.
Yes it can be crass at times, especially on the internet, but that obsession is what keeps the new generations coming.

The answer for the United States would be yes. We are preoccupied with youth, consumerism, fame and sex. We are also very prudish compared to other cultures. And our honophobia is off the chart. It is not surprising that we are the number one nation for sexual problems.

Having affairs is a adverse ingredient; i will accept as true with you there. although this is not any longer in basic terms men, females have affairs besides. females are sexual creatures besides. we've needs, too, and from time to time, we do in simple terms think of in accordance to those needs, and not the rest, of course; if no longer, then females would not have intercourse with absolutely everyone different than the guy who they are in love with. yet I surely see no undertaking with a individual who isn't in a dedicated dating having some flings or one evening stands right here and there, as long as they are careful. i think of this is easily a stable ingredient for some human beings; as long as they are no longer doing it with reservations. additionally, no longer absolutely everyone seems to be untrue. there are a number of people who stay dedicated to their companions, in actuality, various the chuffed, healthful couples do stay truthful. the human beings who cheat, nicely, the two they have made a foul mistake, or they in no way could desire to are turning out to be married/ been in contact in a extreme dating in the 1st place.
