Unscrew the hose from head and spray in some descaling spray into the head until it starts fizzing out the holes leave to soak for half hour rinse and away you go !

I used Oxyclean. I put some in a sandwich bag, added some water, just enough so it would cover the showerhead, and used a twisty-tie and kept it on the shower head that way. I let it sit for a couple of hours (did the rest of my cleaning) and came back, wiped it with a wet cloth and it was perfect. I also (in between rooms) went in and kind-of rubbed the paste on the head and left it.

Drop the showerhead into a bowl of lemon juice, and leave for an hour or two. Best to use the squeezy bottle of juice to obtain the quantity. Rinse in clean water afterwards. It does work and it's chemical free!

i think it was called " t r l" it is really good. but you can also soak the showerhead in clear vinegar for a few minutes and that also takes out the limescale from it.
it is also good for cleaning the inside of coffeemakers.

It's call CLR calcium lime and rust remover your shower head gets that nasty look from you having hard water so go out and get CLR and put it into a bowel of water then soak the shower head in it

get a plastic bag fill with white vinegar then stick showerhead in bag tie bag around showerhead and leave for an hour.

mix some CLR in a cleaning bucket and hold it up over the shower Head and it should come clean.
