We are looking for ideas on what to replace the 2 tiles (which are side by side against the wall) with. We have no extra tiles and don't know anything about the current tiles. We will probably eventually do the floor over, so we don't want to spend too much on this either. They are a medium pinky terra cotta color.

Can you replace them with two tiles from under the stove or some other appliance in the kitchen so they won't be visible.

I suspect the best solution if matching tiles aren't available is to use contrasting tiles. Perhaps remove 3 or 4 more tiles, depending on the size of your kitchen and replace those also. Use a random method, or uniform depending on your preference. You may like this so well , you might even do it again in the future. Good Luck.

12 x 12 tile is common. any tile store should match it or come close. depending on the finish, you might be able to stain to the same color.. good luck! (I am a mosaic artist and I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to do a mosaic in that space!)

If the tiles are under your fridge, use them. Use any color under it. You will never match the exposed tiles.
