Not sure. Either she's alive, or the new appearance of Carmen is actually Sheila.

It's her cousin. Carmen is dead and Dru is going crazy (and is having a little help along the way by the cuz). Victoria Roswell (Dru) is leaving the show and so they are preparing to write her out.
