socializing activities are generally done to give people a chance to talk to each other and to get to know each other.
to where social activities are done for other reasons and open to the public ,such as sports ,etc.

Socialising activities are limited to a selected few members of a family ,company etc.

(narrow based for the welfare of a few)

Social activities are concerned about the society at large.
(Broad based- for the welfare of many)

Socializing activities are those which teach or reinforce social skills. ie. you learn from them how to act in society.

Social activities may not teach or reinforce any social skills.

A social activity is required for socialisation, but may not lead to socialisation.
