I have a wireless network in the house, and my laptop connects fine to it, but obviously the desktop is not wireless.

I know you can buy wireless USB sticks for desktops, so it simply goes into the USB port and makes the desktop wireless, please can someone exactly what item I should buy for my desktop? I want something that will allow it to work far away from the modem as possible, with best speeds.

Thankyou,

Shyam

you may want to look at a PCI wirelss adapter then... anything with 11.g is ok, so price is the biggest issue. (11.n is the new level, but ur WLAN needs to be able to communicate at 11.n as well)
