For me, in the beginning before my husband and I got married it was no big deal....that is until i got pregnant with our first son. i put on weight and I assumed that the sight of a big belly would turn him off, but it didn't. After the baby was born I went back into shape rather quickly. In about three months I was back to my old size and making other women feel jealous.
At the age of 25 when I found out I was pregnant again with our second child, I took for granted that I would snap back into shape as quickly as I did the last time. I put on about 65 pounds and have only been able to lose about 25 of that so far. I'm so self conscience about my weight that I don't allow him to see me fully naked anymore....EVER. He's very sweet and tells me all the time that I'm still as beautiful as ever and not to worry so much about my weight and that when our baby is older and the weather is better, I'll be able to exercise more and it will come off. Although he's never once got "the wondering eye" I still feel ugly and undesirable.
To wrap things up, you're not alone. Thousands of women all over the US feel the same way. I think that society has put an image in our minds of what they think "the perfect woman" should look like and if we don't fit that description then we're fat and/or ugly. I've been trying to work on not only losing weight, but losing the image i have of myself. I think if woman can do that then that's half of the battle.

I'd rather no one sees me in the buff, including my husband. After 3 pregnancies, I just don't look like the 'supermodel' he married. Not to fret though - he doesn't look the same either!!!!
It's hard to get comfortable in your own skin sometimes, especially when it's someone else you see in the mirror - not the person you once remember. I have a c-section scar and regardless of the sit-ups, my stomach won't go as flat as it used to be in the hey-day! I don't like it so I just can't see him liking it either.
He's always been very supportive though. He still thinks I'm attractive and sexy and tells me often. His bedside manner hasn't changed so I'm pretty sure he's not affected. I know, I know, than either should I right!!??
Oh well, none of us are ever 100% happy with ourselves and there's always that 1 thing we'd like to change.

If you can't let your husband watch you walk around in the buff then you are in for bigger issues down the road. Embrace your body and if he doesn't like the way you look!! You married the wrong guy. Confidence is sexy. It has nothing to do with looking like a supermodel.

I don't have a husband, but there is a man that I am dating, and I was naked in front of him last week. It felt great, I work out, but I do not have a body like a supermodel, I also have a daughter, so you know there are strecth marks, however, a man will always and I mean ALWAYS will apprecitate your beautiful nakedness as long as YOU do, girl I am telling you--love yourself, love your body, men love confidence!!! So if you have rolls or stretch marks or whatever--accent them with a new set of panties and bra, -----I love you because your a beautiful woman!! So should you!!! When you are alone go in front of a long mirror, and tell yourself that you love you!!! Go on now do it!!!

No. I am not a super model but my husband loves to see me in the buff. Yes, I can afford to lose a few pounds but I am in decent shape and I look good for my age and after having his five children he'd better appreciate me (lol).

My wife loves me to see her naked because I always feel on her and tell her how good her body looks. However, she works out and watches what she eats. She's far from a supermodel (like the average woman) but her attitude towards her own body turns me on.
You sound like you need to change your attitude about your body.

Embarrassed now that I have gained so weight after having our son and then getting my apendix removed. I heard it's normal though because when we first met our sex drives were so high I didn't have time to think about it. Now that everything has to be planned I get embarrassed.

i walk around naked...He doesn't mind and either do I. a naked body is nothing, yeah we may not be supermodels but as long as your comfortable with yourself you should worry about what others think. And if youe spouse always tells you your beautiful you wouldn't have a problem walking around naked.
