If you are running XP or Vista, you should be able to simply insert a blank disc and open you DVD drive window. In another window, browse to the downloaded file and drag that file into the DVD Window. Once the Icon is in the DVD window, click the selection on the left to burn these files to disc.
If it won't burn that way, you may need to use burner software. If this is the case, your computer will have come with it preinstalled. Start up that software and select the movie file you downloaded and burn it through the software.

You need to add the file in the burning software eg. nero, burning studio ect. and burn to disc. The download must be in the Right type of file to play on any dvd. .avi at the end of the file name seem to work. If the file burns in a couple of Minuit's its data video and do sent seem to work in normal dvd players. should take a lot longer. I am new to this sorry not an expert. best of luck

well it depends on the format of the downloaded video file eg .avi, .mpeg, etc. there are lots of converter programs out there than can covert.
u can goto http://www.videohelp.com/tools and download a convert to turn the file into .vob's (which is the .file name of dvd's)
