I have decided to buy a special chair to help my 8 month old sit up on her own she can hold her head up is finally almost crawling but still cant sit on her own. Just wondering which chair is better. Testimonials a plus :)

I have a bumbo and it works great, but I think the Bebe Pod looks nicer. The only drawback with them is that they sit up so high that the baby can't reach any toys on the floor, which tends to upset them.

We love our Bumbo Seat!!!! My baby boy is now 6 1/2 months and likes to sit on it, but he now has learned that if he wants something, he can just throw his body backward and he will be able to roll out of it to reach something he wants! Then he gets angry because he can't sit back up!
I think the Bumbo is cheaper than the Bebe Pod, so go for the Bumbo!
P.S. to the person who said they make a tray? Where can I get that?

I have a bumbo, but my son did not like it much.... He was always trying to get out of it... I think I used it 2 or 3 times. He did not like to be that stationery. He always had to be moving around... He is now 8 1/2 months old and into everything... I cant keep him still for a minute. I found that he liked doing things on his own much better. He used my boppy that I had used for feeding to learn to sit up. I just put that around his bottom and then he could still lean and reach everything. He fell over a lot, but he learned to sit up on his own very quicky.
Maybe try that first instead of spending the $ on the seat.
Just a thought.

My son has used both. We have a Bumbo and we love it. My friend has a Bebe Pod, and he enjoyed that. I don't think there is much difference other than the different colors they come in.

I've never had a bebe pod, but we LOVED our bumbo!!! My daughter was so comfotable in it, and could finally sit up and see the world from a better view~ without toppling over! It's easy to clean and soft and portable.

my nice has a Bumbo and loves it. It helped her to sit up and allowed her to reach and play with toys. However when she had more control over her legs, she was able to crawl out of it. Its nice and soft so she never got hurt but keep an eye on your little one in their Bumbo. I was surprised by how quickly she was able to get out of it and crawl around.

We have a Bebe Pod... I love it! It is really easy to clean, and very hard for baby to get out of by themselves (always a plus with a squirmy little one lol)
Thye make new models now with a table top and toy bar also, but I have the plain old basic one...

BUMBO BABY i use it on my 3 month old
its so awesome it not only helps them sit but u dont have to worry about ur little flying forward

you can now get a tray for the bumbo seat. handy for toys or finger foods.
