I swear I feel so dense about such things, but I need a link or someone to explain to me, dummy style, how to save my Favorites list on my computer that has Windows XP. I want to put my Favorites list on one of those memory sticks that plug into a USB port and then retrive them on the guest computer!

Thank you.

Download software from http://www.u3.com or http://PortableApps.com and install on your flash drive. There are also programs such as Open Office (a freeware opensource version of Microsoft Office) and the GIMP (an opensource version of Adobe Photoshop).

There is even a Program out there right now called MojoPac, which, when installed on a flash drive, allows you to run ANY program that is installed on that flash drive on ANY computer system, without installing anything on that computer system.

IM not exactly sure on how to save directly to the favorites and have them come up immediately when on your other computer, but heres how I do it...

go up to your favorites list and right click on the desired folder.

then click send to:

select the E: drive

it will save (usually) automatically.

when you try to open your favorites on the other computer, go to FILE, OPEN.

click on browse and find the E: drive

on the E: drive should be your favorites list.
