Its paint from a model car that got spilled on the carpet, its bright green and black, I've tried a couple of things...but it hasn't worked...Please help.

try undiluted pine-sol, my son spilled silver model car paint on his black jeans, I kept pouring pine sol on it and blotting it out until the paint was gone, it works by dissolving the paint. hope this helps.

Paint thinner (they sell it right next to the model paints) is the only thing I can think of, It is used to clean pain brushes.

You tried paint thinner, I assume.

Dump a lot of paint thinner on there and scrub that out, then get a rag and water and soak it all up. If that doesn't work... you're screwed, man.

Use lighter fluid. The type used in refilable (Zippo) lighters. *Not Butaine* It has a lot less odor than the others mention plus it has 1000% less noxious fumes.

Several small applications of turpentine followed by a cleaning to remove the oily residue would be my guess.
