The reperesentative IQ of the modal average Yahoo Answers answerer is barely detectable. It's a minor miracle that they can actually make the computer work at all. Judging by the "replies", I'd have to guess it's because they are not sufficientlty literate to read the question, but make a random guess as to what's being asked from words they recognise from the front page of the Sun/ Daily Mail. They use the tag line for this and assume the rest is just small print.

Y!A is a place for well thought out answers. And to do that you have to read the WHOLE question. That's like giving HALF and answer.
Believe me, it drives me craaaazyy.
