I like the sidekick 3 by Tmobile, but I don't like their service. I currently have verizon and love their service. I want to know if there is a way to somehow connect the phone to my service? Is there any reprogramming places to check out? is it possible to do?

** I wonder why can't we buy the phones we want and connect them to the service provider we want... like regular land line phones!***

No, it will not work. T-Mobile phones are GSM which require a sim card to work. Verizon phones are CDMA which don't use a sim card. They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other. The law the first answerer mentioned does not apply to this because its the hardware that is not compatible. Even if a GSM phone is unlocked it will not work on Verizon.

Verizon prompt became once the # a million that they had the most towers in maximum parts yet now there is competition. i in my opinion had Verizon for years and after my acquaintances and kin confident me I moved to Tmobile and its tremendous. Sidekick is one among my acceptable phns ever and with the cellular to cellular characteristic my bill is next to no longer some thing, plus harldy any dropped calls.

No, Verizon uses CDMA technology and T-Mobile uses GSM. CDMA does not use sim cards so you will not be able to use your sidekick with Verizon. Sorry...

you can still have your sidekick 3 and change out your services using a criket store all you have to do is find a cricket store and ask if they can switch

There is a law that you are suppose to be able to switch your service and not your phone or phone number.
