so i think that in this context synergy probably means the similarities in the two dance forms. the dictionary definition of synergy (which you must have doubtlessly checked out) is "The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.". so for example if you've already studied jazz and you now wish to study salsa the synergies between the two techniques and perhaps several other forms is the perfect hip isolation techniques that are probably common to both. best of luck developing as a dancer!

Synergy is about how the sum of things can be greater than the individual parts.

In this case it would be how parts or techniques within the story combined to make the story better. Perhaps something like the use of Irony in a case of Foreshadowing. Or maybe the use of third person quotations in a first person narrative.

Synergies can also mean collaboration. the definition means putting something together to acquire an enhanced state. here when referring to synergies, i think your teacher wants you to determine if the techniques you use can be combined to help you better achieve become a greater dancer.

I think that the synergies means synchronization because the opposite is contrast.

So compare and contrast.

A synergy is when two seemly different objects come together and compliment each other so well that appear to be from one source.

Synergists are things that help push something forward or I guess in that context, What are the strong points for each technique in developing you as a dancer.

It may be misused in the question.

Basically synergy is energy people give to each other--the idea that you build each other up. You give energy, your partner receives it, gives you some, and pretty soon you both have more energy than you started with.

While not the exact meaning of the word, on this context the writer seems means "similarities". I.E. "Are there any points of similarity or points of contrast..." I would take it to mean, "compare and contrast the two techniques..."

The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.

Basically, when two separate items or things come together to form one, and when they do, they are more "powerful" or better together as one then separate.

That sentance doesnt really use that word very well.
