what are the chances of Duke giving me $ aid?

i have:

a 4.0!

and...

i am really motivated
BUT
i need money!!!!!!

any ideas? what are my chances?

any hope!?

or should give up.... :(

At Duke you will need lots of dollars. Your best bet is to apply and get accepted. Many schools - especially private ones - will voluntarily offer scholarship dollars to entice you to attend, particularly if you have a high SAT or ACT and a good resume to go with those grades. If you don't get offers that shortly follow your acceptance letter, then you will need to have your family complete FAFSA and then apply for any scholarships or grants that the school has available.

If you don't try, you will never know. You might think about attending a lower cost school for the first two years and then transferring to Duke.
