Yes its fine, some will come out. You should mention to your DR about the burning while urinating if it doesnt get better. Was it a 1 time treament or are you to do it over a course of days?
Monistat 1 is an excellent over the counter way to treat a yeast infection. They also have itch cream. If you itch and sctrach it too hard it will become painful.
You can also buy the itch cream without the internal treatment.

Best of luck!

Gravity will make the cream come out. are you sure the cream is supposed to go inside not on the out side? It could be a bacteria infection in which case the cream should go on the out side. When the cream is applied it will itch and burn for a minute or two but should go away. Also to help with itching and burning try Epsom salt in hot water, run a bath tub with hot water as hot as you can stand to sit in and mix in 1/2 the bag of the Epsom salt with water running. (get the large bag a couple so you don't have to keep going back.) bring a book or something to do and sit in it until the water cools about 20 minutes. as often as you want. I would call the doc about the cream you maybe doing something wrong. Good Luck

Yeast infections aren't so bad but with medicine it will help a lot.
Tip:Don't douche it can make it worse and the vagina is self-cleaning
