How much vitamin-D and calcium are in your multivitamin? How much of each do you need? They're both fat soluble and too much of either will make you ill.

Well, I do it. My doctor recommended both to me, so I have to assume it's OK. You might want to be sure your multivitamin isn't super-dosed with Vitamin D. You shouldn't take more than 800 IU of vitamin D daily. Here's some useful information:

Yes, I have been doing the same everyday, take my vitamin and as recommended by my doctor, my everyday calcium.

yes, i have to, i don't drink milk or get a lot of dairy, so my doc. recommends that i do this because most multi vitamins do not contain the 100% daily intake for calcium you should be getting.

Vitamin D is an oil soluble vitamin and you can take too much of it because you cannot piss it out like vitamin C.

Women should suppliment with calcium, use magnesium with it to help with absorbtion.
Yes, you can take it with the multi.

make sure you don't take too much calcium because it may interfere with absorption of other minerals like magnesium.
