I didn't 'do' one, but I joined one and am still an active member through our alumnae organization.

Yes, Alpha Phi Omega...this is a co-ed service fraternity and it was a lot of fun. There are service oriented sororities and fraternities as well social ones, so check them all out before you decided!

No, but several of my roommates and other friends joined them later in college (as juniors & seniors) and it seemed to make them happier. One joined the business fraternity (co-ed) and made great connections and networked for later in her career. There are pros & cons to joining, but the cons weighed more for me so I never joined and I'm doing just fine.
