Yes...Iran signed the nuclear non proliferation treaty,so it has every right to a nuclear program and no one should have the right to tell them what to do...Sure ,if it is proved that Iran wants to build nuclear weapons,then yes,I would agree with sanctions,'cos this would mean not respecting the NNPT...But as long as they are not trying to build nukes,they are not doing anything illegal...

Iran is a nation unto itself, and obviously is not concerned by the opinions of other nations. As always, the leaders are involved in their power struggles, and want to be perceived as being in control. Nuclear power is not a big secret, but how it is managed will be the issue. I don't think Iran will use military force, as it is a small nation and could not withstand the retaliation of it's neighbors. Their problem now, is the refining of their oil for energy, so they do need electrical power, and the current leader enjoys the ability to exercise his tonsils by making speeches. Best wishes
