Where did he come from, and what happened with the shrink lady? I just watched it and I'm left with this 'huh?' feeling. It just seemed to end abruptly with no real resolution.

Mark Walhberg's character commited the final murder by killing Matt Damon. He was one of the detectives that got Leonardo to be a mole. He resigned after Martin Sheen's character was killed. I can only assume (since they failed to show it again) that the brown envelope Leonardo gave to the shrink lady had all the information in it and to give it to Mark Walhberg's character. So he killed Matt for vengence for Martin's character. Sorry, I can't remember the character names. I was too busy trying to keep up with the storyline! It was kinda confusing.

The guy at the end is Marky Mark's character. He was a seargant that worked with Martin Short's character. Who know's what happened to the shrink. There's allegedly a sequel in the making, probably why it just sort of "ended."

It was Mark Wahlberg he was the detective in the beginning who helped put Leo undercover. It never says about the shrink so yeah I kind of felt lost to at the end.

Marky Mark - He was the cop who quit because he was pissed off that at the way the investigation was being conducted. I think the suggestion is that the envelope contianing the CD implicating Matt Damon's character was delivered to this guy. He then whacked Damon for killing Leo's character.

Mark Whalbergs character. I think the shrink gave him the package that Leo character wanted to hold if something happened to him because he was the only person alive who knew he was a cop. I think it had all the evidence that pointed to matt damons character as being dirty

Mark walberg! he worked with all of them. He knew that guy was a dirty cop so he killed him. And the shrink lady left because her boyfriend was a dirty cop. and in the envolope leo left her it was all of his information about him. his idenity.
