Do you believe that by changing your thought to what you want to what you don't want will change your life completely and allow you to accomplish any goal that you may have?
I have read the book "The Secret" and decided i was going to put it to the test today. They tell you to start small and to envision something you want to happen. To take negativity a turn it into the positive. I chose to play the lottery with the intentions of winning...even just a small amount. The whole time i told myself i was going to win. Though i only won $10, i still won. Do you think positive thinking can bring forth positive lifestyle? For example, one of the teachers in the book started small and tried saying he was going to find a great parking space that day, which anyone who lives in a city knows is a tough thing to do.
What do you think?

It's interesting you mentioned the lotto win. I interviewed one of the psychics who won the lotto in September and she told me she had been watching the Secret on DVD too. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/psychic-wins-lottery.html

Oprah,Abe Lincoln and I can't remember who else at the moment. Were all products of "Positive thinking"
It's really tough to answer because everyone in their lives will have ups and downs. Some will just see this in a positive or negative way. There are a lot more factors involved.
I personally have had experiences where positive thinking has helped me achieve my goals. And negative thinking succeeding too.
I am a firm believer in balance, It's a circle. For people who believe in positive to succeed there will be people believing in the negative to achieve their goals
But for the over all outlook in life, yes think positive

I think that it works, I have started small and so far have had good results. This book's tips for positive thoughts are drastically different from my current thought process, I was a negative thinker.
I tried focusing on a friend that I haven't heard from in over a year, and I kept thinking that I wanted her to contact me. This was about 3 days ago, but I kept thinking of her as my long lost friend. Today, she contacted me! I saw the message from her and I was astonished. I guess if you can see good happening to you, then it will happen.
I am a HUGE skeptic, so I will try this again and again to see if it is working as I plan it to.

Most definitely I believe in the power of positive thought.
What you project, comes back to you and if you project negativity, then you will get negativity back. If you project positivity, then you will get positivity back.
It may take awhile, I don't think its an instant thing....but it will work. And the only way to know for sure...is to give it a try. What does one have to lose by trying?
Another way I can put this.....like from *The Devil wears Prada* and *Ugly Betty*......a woman, beautiful to look at....but ugly as hell on the inside....gets no where in life. Because, shes breeding nothing but negativity; hoping that her appearance will carry her through life. When in reality, the *ugly duckling* can have a positive outlook on life, everything.....and she gets rewarded for it in the end....by projecting that positiveness!

when you're down and out this is the best time to think positive. all i do when i need a parking space in a tough place, i pray from the heart and hope for it and voila... works all the time. dont forget to thank whoever you prayed to. the secret is knowing who you are and knowing your strongest and your weakest points and accepting yourself and loving yourself. life is a daily struggle and thinking positive is a great thing but there will be times that you cant help but to feel negative in a lot of things. thinking positive is also related to hoping for the best in your daily life.
