I used to have a '90 Corolla and the plugs were right on top of the engine, very easy to change with the correct tools - ratchet, proper size plug socket and a medium or long extension. I found that everything that needed routine maintenance on my Corolla was easily accessible. Toyotas are just better by design.

4 or 6 cyl? 4 is really easy, but the back bank of the 6 is a bit of a pain to get to. With the 4 about 1 hour max. however with the 6 it could take 2-3 hours.

Ouch, that was rude. She didn't even say she was going to do it. Anyhow I do agree that if you are asking other people about changing your plugs you should probably leave them alone, at least this time. They rarely need to be done, so it's worth it to have a professional do it.
Yours will not take too long, but you need to be careful not to strip the cavity as that is extremely expensive to repair.
Why are you doing the tuneup? Just as regular maintenance or do you have a problem? If you do have a problem, take it in rather than trying a tuneup.

HUH?? tune up alrdy?? even tho those are wear out device... but... thats too fast.
Spark plug and wires alone with pcv valve is sold in almost every auto retail store. The Iridum and platinum one is the best, dont get copper. Copper cost 2bux each, iridum cost 6 bux each. platinum cost like 7 bux i think.
when i did my tune up for my 95 rolla, the wires cost my around $25... pcv valve $2
Spark plug are standard for almost all vehicles, as well as wires, ask their service dept.
Installation, it takes a prefessional mechanic around 10mins to 30 mins to get everything done... i donno how long will it take you....

Don't touch anything under that hood. Take it to a shop before you **** something up. Do you have the proper tools to remove spark plugs? Probably not. Since you're asking such a stupid question you'll probably end up stripping them... stupid woman.
