Hello.
I would suggest an online auction. EBay or something, otherwise, as stated by another answer you will get ripped off. My brother tried to sell two games in good condition to a local stop shop that sell used games for about $15 but buy for $4 each and $3 if it has scratches, and new ones are regular price unless they are one year or older for $20. I say stay with the psp. I myself have a psp and a color ipod. I rather watch videos on the psp as I have seen people watch videos on their ipods and it's not all too good. It's a little too small for me. Plus psp has "real" games that you can't play on an ipod. Plus the psp has wi-fi to go on the net. The best and probably only great thing about the ipod is that it has plenty of memory to hold practically your whole music collection and can be used as extra disk/hard drive space. The psp can be updated and many add-on will be available soon such as cameras (I've seen pictures where they already have in japan). IM is available on the psp as well. Also free demo games. I don't think Gamestop and EBgames trade psp for ipods as I don't they have ipods, only video games and game systems (also movies but that's irrelevant).
Hope that helps.

tuff one..... probably just do it by talking to close friends..... if u trade in a game store u will get ripped off nasty... once i saw a guy trading in a ps2 with like 15 games...they gave him 25 buks!!!
just put ur psp on auction, if it is version 2.8 or below u might get good cash for it... oh and i own both... my opinion ur better off with the psp.... if u want videos on ur ippod....hmmm u'll see wut i mean if u get one.... the video runs for like 35 minutes then it drains ur battery...so dats the down side of an ipod video
