I've shot firearms before, but one story stands out in my mine.
When I was dating my wife, she took me to an indoor shooting range on our second or third date. We shot a .38 and .357 magnum and it was pretty fun.
Down the range, there a guy shooting a replica of a Revolutionary War musket. It took forever to load and it sounded just like a musket fired in a Disney movie. He wasn't using smokeless powder, so the who room clouded up. It was fun to watch.

I was in the army and the navy, I've shot
SLR 7.62mm,
F1 sub machine gun, 9mm I think.
M60 7.62 Heavy machine gun.
I had a .22 rifle too.
I've also shot a 9mm pistol and a .38 pistol.
An M16 5.56mm as well.
Oh and also the slug gun.
I stood next to a navy gun one day when they let that off. It scared me so much I nearly feinted. I think it was a water cooled 7.62 cm big mutha. I got drenched and scared. is that enough?
