I would have to say that's the smartest question I've heard all day. You're absolutely right. There are loads of facts against the theory of evolution.
For example, Charles Darwin, the creator of the theory of evolution, denied the theory before he died. Another example is how could this "big bang" have been the start of the earth when the particles of the earth had to come from somewhere? Also, when there is an explosion (the big bang was a huge explosion), science says that those particles are separated, and they can't form into one thing (gold can, but as far as the earth, that's impossible). Also, living things can't evolve from non-living things, and a lightning bolt in a prehistoric lake couldn't have started life on earth.
You're absolutely right. It's nuts. The schools are teaching something totally illogical in school. They just have to sit down and think about it, and then they should realize how stupid it really is.
It's nice to see someone who agrees with me on this.

Oh dear, this again.....

What the hell...I'll just say it...

You are completely wrong. There is absolutely no evidence against evolution and loads and loads more for it being discovered everyday.
Intelligent Design has been shown to be nothing more than a hoax, a fringe science, if you will.
And all the evidence has held up under the scrutiny of modern molecular evidence.

It's a complete myth that many scientists are coming out against evolution. Almost all support it based on evidence and those who do not had their mind made up before they even went into Biology based on their religion.

These are not my opinions. These are objective statements backed by evidence...but obviously thats lost on you...so I don't even know why I bothered....go read a book or two please.

The first time I learnt that US school kids do not learn about evolution in schools, I was completely shocked. It is so logical, and for people to not accept it was illogical to me. What is wrong with believing in science and religion together? They both can coexist together.

Now, every time I hear about a US kid not learning evolution, it just makes me pity the little one.

There is actually quite a bit of information for evolution. It is taught "like truth" because it has been widely accepted by the scientific community, although not necessarily by the general population.

Acceptance of evolution does not preclude the role of God in forming our world.

Info against it? Creatures have evolved over time, thats a fact. Though genetic mutation, animals adapt to their surroundings. Thats precisely why life can be found in the harshest of environments. "Evolution" doesn't have to mean there is no God, as creationist would have you believe. Things DO change over time.

Because it is the truth. If you have not seen the evidence for it you have not looked far.

By contrast ideas like creationism are based on a page from a work of fiction over 2000 years old, and have no evidence. People who believe them can only be described as mentally unstable or delusional.

Sooooooooooooooo what is your evidence (not some "info" you read somewhere) against evolution?

It's easy to ask why people can be so stupid. It is a lot harder to provide any real evidence against evolution. Where is yours???

are you stupid? evolution has not yet been proven wrong we have the fossils to prove evolution does exist and continues happening! you need to go back to middle school. learn the Darwin theory!

You are mistaken. There is nothing against evolution, and cannot be: it is now a proven fact. (Details on request.) Biologists use it all the time, because it works.
