I am 35 weeks pregnant and can also relate.. My doctor told me that it can be from the baby pushing it's head on my cervic, making me experince the sharp pain.. Try laying down.. or laying on your side to get the baby to move that might bring you relief..

That my dear, is baby pushing down on your cervix! Does it take your breath away for a moment? I went through this with my second child. She would push down into my pelvis and I felt like someone was sticking a knife up into me!

It gets worse as you get further along. The only advise I can give you is to try to change position (i.e. if you are sitting, walk around). Sometimes, if you are laying down or stretched out when it happens, it helps to try to curl up into the fetal position. This moves baby up a bit and gives you some temporary relief.

Good luck to you hon! Your almost there!

Its from all the blood, and the weight of the baby and uterus on the pelvic floor.

It actually causes vericose veins, sometimes even vaginal hemmeroids, (you would KNOW if you had those).

But the sharp pains are just part of the territory. They might even get worse as time goes by, but after the baby is born they will go away again.

I did that some when i was pregnant. the doctor said it was just "growing pains" pretty much. everything is stretching and pulling to make room for the baby to drop down and it causes some pains. I wouldnt worry.

Sounds normal to me. If your stomach tightens or gets hard at the time of the pain, you should have it checked, if its just a muscle stretching (probably what it is) then no big deal, your just getting bigger, Good luck.

Probably just baby coming down and putting pressure on pelvis.

oh i hated those lol i had them from about 25 weeks and on. dont worry it is normal. sometimes its just braxton hicks contractions, which is just your body getting you ready for labor. dont worry!!! it will go away!
