Yes, and it's stated in the contract.

With Sprint, whenever you change the Minute Plan outside 3 months since the start of a contract, a contract has to be renewed or extended, starting the day the new plan or contract becomes effective.
As for changing some extra features such as text messaging, vision, etc, no need to change the contract unless it affects the basic plan.

I've been with Sprint for several years (6 or 7) and I've changed my plan three times without having to extend the contract. The only time I extend it is to get a new phone or Broadband access card. Completely happy with Sprint...I'm on fair and flexible and can talk for 1400 minutes for $65 a month including Vision Pack, Unlimited Texts, and Nights/Weekends starting at 7PM.

Cingular is the one that doesn't mess with your contract unless you buy a phone from them with the 1 or 2 year discounts. It is a big deal to me, too, due to the fact that I sometimes need to change a certain feature or minute plan and I like the flexability. So no, not all carriers are the same, Cingular/AT&T seems the most consumer friendly...

I think so - Verizon changed my contract w/out telling me and when I went in to cancel it after getting a new plan - they said I still had a year and had to pay 175 for each phone to cancel. What a rip off

As for the bullying, i think of maximum instructors look petrified of the bullies, this has been going on for years and could be dealt with, yet it fairly is not any excuse for breaking any regulations. i'm happy you think of for your self, yet once you're able to do issues a undeniable thank you to bypass a variety and please a instructor, then you definately that's what you're able to do. some day you will artwork for somebody who needs you to do what they are asserting.
