I'd start by contacting the County Registars office - I think they are the ones who usually handle Birth Certificates.

even though the baby was born in the home it should still have a birth certificate. if not call your local court house, and figure out what needs to be done, or if they have it. i know i had to call and get my birth certificate copy when i was 16 to get my DL.

I would think you need to call the government agency that deals with birth certificates. You may have a very hard time since it has been two years.

I agree you can still go register him but is there a explaination why he wasnt registered earlier ... it will take a while to get him registered though because its been so long they have to make sure the child is realy hers and such just incase.they may ask why the child wasnt taken sooner... if hes not registered he really needs to get his shots and such its very important you do it asap

It doesn't matter where and when babies are born, but where they registered. If the baby's birth was registered you have nothing to worry about.
