My company has been going through some major reorganization over the last 6 months. They fired 1/2 of our staff as part of this. They came to me when they were letting people go and gave me a option of staying or going. I stayed because what else would I do on essentially no notice. I regret staying now because the partners that own the co. are making some bad business decisions. If I know of a decision that will affect my department in a negative way I speak up about it. They’ll listen to my opinions but they never use them. Now all of these could’a, would’a, should’a events are happening and I feel like things could’ve been different if they would’ve either taken my advice or at least thought things through a little more thoroughly before making quick decisions. Would you stay with a company that’s making a lot of bad business decisions because they seem to be only thinking about the here and now instead of the future?

? It should be noted that I plan on quitting in June or July because I’m moving out of state (they don’t know this yet). Should I stick it out until then or look for something else in the mean time?

Stick it out. You're leaving very soon, and time really does fly by. It won't be your problem if they run their own business into the ground. Give it your all, and leave.

when you move and start your job search you don't want to look like you are unstable at a job so i would recommend staying for now. in the meantime start working on your resume and researching jobs in your soon to be new home. contact recruiters in that area and see what their recommendations are. if you have any vacation or comp time with your current company then take it at the intervals you need to get a break. maybe you could negotiate an alternative schedule such as 4/10s or telecommuting to reduce your time in the office. having been in a sucky work condition myself i understand where you are coming from. hang in there, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. good luck.

just stick it out. it will be harder to quit and find a new job then move and find another new job.
plus when you are looking for a new job wherever u move it will look better on your resume if you have one job for a long time rather then two for a short time.
june is not that far away so jus tstick it out and say 'who cares' what happens now because it wont affect you because you are leaving anyway

I'd stick it out.
Who knows what the future brings. They might eventually let you go and at least you will get a package.
If you leave, what are you going to do until June? It's impossible to find a position in that length of time.
Start sending resumes out to the state you are moving to.

If you only have 4 months left there is no reason to leave now..You must remember you are an employee and it is up to the owners to make the business decisions.. Just do as you are told..As an owner, I hate when employees tell me what I should be doing..

I think you should start looking for a job somewhere else. If you find something good take it. If you don't stay where you are for a while. I can see what's coming. In a while I bet they sell or go under.
