there are many learn to draw manga comic book type books. they are relatively inexpensive... i used them a few times, but didn't like the results. the way i have learned is by plain and simple copying. the books may help you as they show sketching and how to do proportions, but it wasn't anything i hadn't already learned in my art classes, so they proved useless to me. but that doesn't mean they will for you. i would definitely recommend taking an art class so you have a teacher to give you pointers. no, they likely won't have a manga drawing course at your local community college, but any art class will give you the grounds to start drawing manga. certain things are across the board no matter what kind of drawing you do.

take what you learn from the class and apply it to drawing manga.

There are many sites and books, but if you're like me, they don't help at all. They don't tell you how to make your own style, they just give you others. The so called "Beginners" start with faces, then right into standing and action poses.

Practice a couple different ways, then close the books and try drawing on your own. Keep practicing, and you'll soon develop a manga style on your own.

It may be years until you make it professionally, so just practice.

I know walden books has some really great books there that I've seen in the store. I did found this Tutorial site, I don't know how much it can be helpful. Walden books is pared up with amazon, so don't freak if you didn't know that if you go to their site. lol
Chacha can be helpful if you search with a guide if you want to find an online drawing thing or a book. But it depends if they give you a good guide.
