Earlier today I was ice skating, and ended up losing my balance and falling back. I didn't land well, and ended up hitting my head on the ice. It didn't really hurt, but as soon as I stood up I began to feel dizzy. My vision blurred and my hearing was muffled and faint. Basically I felt like I was going to pass out. I sat down for awhile and it got a little better. Now I have a headache.

What should I do?

Also, I tasted blood in my mouth for awhile after and was dizzy the rest of the time. Now I feel fine but I'm still worried...

Yeah, I'm probably going to see a doctor very soon, my parents are trying to get an appointment in today or tomorrow at the latest.

Sounds like you have classic signs of a low grade concussion. Most likely not enough to warrant a trip to the ER, but you should definetely get checked out by your family doctor, they may be able to get you in today if you tell them your signs. Either that or they will refer you to an ER to be safe. At this point do NOT take any pain relievers, just bear the headache, and get a call into your docs office to see what they would like to do. Good luck.

Your community no doubt has a free clinic that can at least do a quick examination to determine any major problems. You'd be wise to look at your local phone listings and determine a good location to visit, as well as make a call to ensure you can be viewed within a proper amount of time.

Depending upon your location, health plan, and state/national regulations on health care, the visit might not even cost you anything more than your time.

At least the peace of mind would be a major benefit, even if nothing turns out to be 'wrong', per se.

Well you might have a concussion and you should see some serious medical help if the systems persist. Don't go to sleep or bump your head again just go home and call up a doctor and talk to them about what you are feeling and you may just have a good knot on your noggin. It may help to take some ibuprofen or some Tylenol but remember not to take to many of the pills

You might have a concussion. In rare occasions people die from ignoring this. You need to go see a Doctor ASAP! You might be bleeding internally and not even know it. This, in some occasions can lead to death also. Call 911!

May need to have skull checked for injuries, blood clots, and check for a concussion.
Check with a doctor to see what you may need to check.

see a doctor just to be sure you could get delayed concussion which means that your body doesn't react straight away to the fall, and you just colapse later it is really serious
