How long do you bleed after pregnancy before you start getting your period? please help i really wanna know!!!

You'll bleed for 4 - 8 weeks after havng a baby and depending on wheather or not you're nursing, you could start your period four weeks later or go without periods for a year.

I bled for 5 weeks. It does suck. But honestly, everyone is different. I think I got my period 2 months after the bleeding stopped.

some women bleed for the whole 6 weeks, some stop earlier. It all depends on your body, every woman is different.

Depends on your body...I think I bled for about 3 weeks...and I'm 4 months post and I still don't have a period.

that all depends on your body. some women bleed the entire 6 weeks. others stop sooner.

well all i can tell you yur not supposed to do anything for 46 wks after the baby is born & that is what the dr has said before
