Yeah. I agree. I don't like her anymore. Ugh!!!
Why can't anybody be like Katie Holmes, she is so sweet, lucky for Tom Cruises.

Well, first off, this particular rehab place is for-profit, and if they can make a nice profit by letting one person have an entire wing to herself, they're going to take it. (Britney's presence also gives them lots and lots of publicity, the kind that money can't buy. Which can bring in more clients.)
Face it, rehab facilities that cater to the very wealthy and to celebrities have to be appealing to their clients in a way that low-price facilities never do. People with limited budgets or who are doing rehab on government money have to find something they can afford. The very wealthy, of whom Brit is one, can pick and choose.
There were, as I understand it, some practical reasons why Ms. Spears took over a whole wing of the facility. If she had a roommate or shared the wing with others, she risked having the tabloids report on things that must be excruciatingly private. Given that some of the tabloids will pay up to six figures for an exclusive story accompanied by photographs of "Brit does detox/rehab," it's pretty certain that if Brit didn't take over the wing, someone would be selling her out to the tabloids. I'll admit I don't know anything about rehab, but I would think that finding your picture and story of what you're doing in rehab probably wouldn't be too helpful.
I think you've also got to admit that Brit's presence as a roommate or wing-mate would be a distraction to others going through rehab at the same time. I would think that would be something that the staff at her deluxe facility would give a lot of consideration to also.
Personally, I think that rather than getting upset about a celebrity who pays a big price for the privilege of doing rehab the way she wants, it would be better to focus anger on the fact that there are so few really effective rehab facilities available for those who aren't rich. If we are going to take the view that all lives are worth redeeming, then we have to also take the view that facilities and resources need to be made available through public funding for those who can't afford to pay for them themselves. But we don't. Instead, we take the viewpoint that we'd rather let the indigent who have substance abuse or mental problems die because they don't deserve public funding to rehab. Now that is something that I think is worth some indignation.

I agree with everything you just said, & also with jenivive. They are getting paid. It's very sad that money comes before the needs of other people that are suffering with addiction. This is the way our world is now. The only thing we can do is..don't feed into it, &, if possible, speak up to change it.
P.S.- Britney Spears is insulting to all strong & intelligent white woman everywhere. She makes this statement seem true "You can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl."
What a waste of everybody's time.

I couldn't agree more. She needs to be dumped on the side of the road, have everyone ignore her, loose everything she has ever had, be turned out onto the street by a violent sadistic pimp, get addicted to crack, get AIDS, have the Firefly Family victimize her, and end up as Freddy Krugar's be-ache as he drops her off in an abandoned town in the middle of the New Mexico atomic test site.
Then we could have a decent made for TV movie.

I have to agree. It's very sad that money talks with such a loud voice. This center is betraying all the sincere people who want to get their life back...and they're betraying what they're supposed to stand for! I think that this rehab stunt with Britney Spears is just that - a publicity stunt by a pathetic former young star designed to continue to get media attention. It's very sad, but she hasn't hit rock bottom yet.

How do you know this info? I just read something saying she was in a regular room like other people and is getting no special treatment. I'm not saying what you read wasn't true because what I read might not be true either. But it goes to show that people will write and say anything.
you shouldn't believe everything you read...especially about celebrities.
Yes I think she is having some problems but she isn't any importance to me so I don't get too worked up about it.

You just don't realize how great I truly am! I'm not a self centered ego maniac. I am a godesend! Kneel trembling before me!
Besides, I'm paying almost a gazillion dollars to the rehab place thingee for the wing.

Because this is America. Even rehab facilities are businesses, and business is about making as much money as you can while you can, which might as well be our country's national slogan. Accordingly, those with lots of money are given credence over the average person. What a country.

Money makes the world go around. Simple as that. Everything is for sell and everyone can be bought. If you had Spear's money you could get the sames treatment. Does it really effect your daily life that much to become so angry over her behavior?

I'm not a psychiatrist and I'm guessing neither are you. So I(along with you) don't have any idea why they would let her do that, or what her treatment plan entails.
What I do know is that people are way too obsessed with what Britney Spears is doing, when they should be focusing on their own lives.

i do no longer supply a toss what she does. Why do people care? Is she greater advantageous than you're, so which you may desire to persist together with her each and every flow? She and different stars are no longer important. Why no longer pay greater interest to the persons around you, acquaintances and kinfolk...or do prosperous people choose your interest greater? be conscious: "Bazaar" is a industry. The word you're searching for is extraordinary.
