The middle east countries get their weapons-funding from American gasoline purchases. (Even if Saudi Arabia or Venezuela, instead of Iran, gets the money directly, the overall use of non-domestic oil drives the overall compensation for all oil-producers.) The weapons are then built/purchased, and used, killing American troops, and otherwise threatening America. If certain Americans want to laugh at alternative fuels, hybrid electric cars, etc. and use the 4-wheel drive jeep-grand-cherokee to the store for groceries again, sending millions of dollars to the Islamo-nuts every day who are intensely focused on destroying civilization and the United States, then why don't THOSE people go over there themselves to fight? What do they think when they fill up the tank, "Oh boy, here's more gas for me, and another American soldier will die, well, who cares!" Maybe if you fund'em, you fight'em. Maybe that should be the rule.

This has got to be the TOP silliest question I've seen today. DO you walk to work, or do you drive? Hell you may not even have a job. Unless you're driving a hydrogen powered car or riding a bicycle, YOU ARE TOO. That is the dumbest bit of SUPER-liberal rhetoric ever uttered. And I'm liberal. Damn you need to get a job, or something. Get laid. Anything. Just stop asking questions like this, it makes you look incompetent, hell it makes us all look incompetent.

Wake up! Most of the world imports crude oil from the middle East. So, do you ride a mule everywhere or do you drive a car too? Get a life!

That would have to include George W. Bush, who recently fueled up Air Force One at a cost to taxpayers of $68,000 per hour, to fly from Washington, D.C. to Delaware.

He could have made the trip in an armored limo in about two hours, but why do that? That would have been cost-effective.
