We want to be together but I am tired of making all the decisions and being a single parent, but if we move in together i know that it will ruin what we have as my son who is 16 would cause hell for us, I want to be happy and we are happy when we are together, but I want to be engaged why will he not ask me? What do I need to do to make him see this is what I want? HELP

Ask him what he wants out of the relationship. If his plans aren't the same as yours, you may want to spend some time apart. You can't force this guy into wanting what you want.

Don't move in together unless you are married. It will send your children the message that doing that is ok, when it is not.

Where is the father of your children? He should be helping you raise them.
