How do I prevent my dryer sheets from getting sucked into the lint filter before they do their job?

Place a thin sock, perhaps a panty hose stocking stuffed with dryer sheets into it. It should be big enough where it wont get sucked in. Also, it may save you money.

I use a safety pin. I pin the dryer sheet to some of the clothes I'm drying. It works really well.

Use liquid fabric softner.I use a Downy Ball, so I don`t have to run around the house when the rinse cycle comes on!!

Put it in pockets or pant legs or inside shirts.
