The glory of men!?! Most men like that believe that women are only put on this Earth to bear Children and keep house. I'm here for more than that. I feel that women have just as much right to work and do the things that men do just as well if not better (or worse who knows). What if there is a single mother that has to take care of her children, what would she do to keep her children alive if she wasn't allowed to work, or the only good paying jobs are for men. Her children would starve. You have to really think about why women all over pushed to get rights like the men do there is more to it. You men always think that your better than us and it's not fair because we get crap thrown on us from people like you. I know that I have more of a purpose on this planet than "taking care of the man" or Bearing his children" or even "cooking or cleaning." It is insulting to think that there are men like that still out there, it pathetic, the whole idea of that is done, over in the past buried, move on!!!!

The Feminist movement is losing tons of steam. Most women really like men, and the smart ones realize that Feminism is only an attempt to negate all of the wonderful men in the world. Feminism is self-sabotage.

I don't really have sympathy here for men, however, I think that emancipation of women is the worst thing that women could have done for themselves.
Let's elaborate;
30 years ago, some women had jobs, many women went to school, had their diplomas, and stayed home. They had to raise their children, had to do laundry, had to go shopping,had to cook,had to help kids with school,and had to make sure that kids don't get into trouble, and make their husbands happy.
Today, women have to do all that, what they were doing than, but with 10 hours a day less, because they are working. And also, their children are raised by who knows who. Another by-product is divorce rate where men think "I'll go because you can make it without me" and women think "I'll go, because I can make it without you." In the process, we are getting all kinds of mental problems and behavioral problems with children of divorced parents, or kids raised on the street, because both parents are working. If you wanna start your movement, don't play the card of men that are discriminated against because they are men. Rather, play the card of importance of women being home with their kids, and lifting the weight off of their shoulders, because there is too much to carry. Of course, women who want to work and can, good for them. I am personally, pregnant, and dread going back to work, and leaving a 3 month old with have no idea who. However, to live normally in this country, gotta have 2 incomes. I wish it was not so.

Feminism has a bad image and a lot of women don't want to associate themselves with it, but what it should be striving for is equality for all. Men and women are still not equal, though things have changed a lot in the last few decades.

I agree with you completely. The balance has shifted enough and it's time to stop it! Of course, saying this, I'm likely to be branded a male chauvinist pig but I say it's no different to being a female chauvinist pig.
As for the answerer who said "sorry but no bc women still dont get paid the same as men when doing the same job", the fact is that women, inevitably and thankfully, have children and have to take time off work to have those children. Whilst they are off, they are not receiving money from their employer and so their average salary is decreased. This is not taken into account and so when comparing a man, who has worked continuously and a woman who may have taken maternity leave a couple of times, the woman appears to be paid less.

It does seem that if you are a heterosexual male there isn't any organisation to help you. The only way to confirm if the feminist movement is losing popularity is to look at whether the sale of dungarees has plummeted in the UK!

Common now. Look at the world and please tell me that you honestly feel that men are at a disadvantage. lol. Feminism is only threatening because you do not understand it. It is not an attack on MEN - but on the imbalance of power. It may be pretty advanced in the US, even compared to Europe, but it isn't even a discussion in the rest of the world.

Tilted the balance against men? Who are you kidding, we still get paid less for doing the same kind of work, and we are sometimes asked questions about our children's care while working!

Okay, we women wanted "equality of the sexes", right? Well, now they are free to spit, cuss loudly, dress like and act like sloppy men, have secksz with women, and work a man's job. I'm a welder, and a bisexual. But I'm so sick of seeing women that look and act like men. Well, we wanted equality so that we could be strong women, what's the use if we're just going to act like guys?
