well 1st off seeing how he is not ready he should have used protection. But he knew what could happen when he had unprotected intercourse so there is not going to be an easy way it is as much his fault as it is yours.Just come right out and say honey I'm pregnant or just hand him the test stick or the paper work from the DR.

In this situation, I think a sit down talk would be the most appropriate. Surprising him with a pee stick, or a cute bib or something may not be a good idea since you know he's not ready. Tell him the situation, let him know that you and he are in this together, and if you are wanting to keep the baby, let him know your intentions immediately. If he truly wasn't ready for baby number 2, he would have thought a little more and used a condom at the time. The situation is what it is and now you need to step forward to take care of yourself and your baby. Good luck to you.

I wrapped my test up in a box and got him a card, and gave it to him.
Or you can sit down with him and a have a discussion about wanting to have kids, then just tell him that ya'll had a slip up or what ever may have happened. And that their is one on the way.

honesty is the best policy
previosly I bought a card which said to daddy and put the pregnancy strip in there - however, this may not be a wise idea for you as your not sure what he'll be like

My boyfriend and I were together when we found out. (We found out in the ER at 3 am.) Just let him know that you have something that you need to tell him. Hopefully he will be understanding and won't freak out.

here's a cute idea ...
get a t-shirt for his other child that says, "I'm going to be a big brother/sister" .. and that should bring a smile to his face :)
good luck! God bless!

tell him because delaying it will make it worse like you're guilty of cheating or something.
