Hook up the router uplink port to the Internet port (on your wall). Hookup the computer network port to one other router port. Then your computer will go Internet through the router.

well read the MANUAL for the router. this has the full guide, if you dont have a manual goto the site who made the router eg http://www.netgear.com for netgears etc..
