I was 5'5" and about 125 lbs. I noticed my stomach getting bigger around 4 months but it wasn't really noticeable to others until at least the 5th month. And I remember that I just couldn't wait to have that cute round pregnant belly!!
Oops, missed the second question. I think it is a good time to tell people somewhere around the 3rd month to give them time to prepare as well. I couldn't wait so i told people when I was only 2 months.

It fairly relies upon all on you. some say that skinny women human beings tutor swifter than heavier women human beings yet it truly is a bunch of bull. i'm 5'6" and weighed 120 pounds prepregnancy and that i did not start up to achieve any weight until eventually i replaced into 21 weeks (I positioned on 4 pounds at my 21 week appointment) and then between 21 weeks and 24 weeks I positioned on yet another 10 pounds! so as it truly is at the same time as i began to exhibit somewhat yet nevertheless that is no longer fairly noticable. some human beings ask if i'm and some does no longer actually have guessed i replaced into until eventually i discussed it.

well I'm 5'5" and i weighed 115 before i got pregnant and i didn't' really start to show until i hit about the 5 month mark. everyone is different though so it could be different for you. i think you could tell your job when your further along and everything is OK. unless you have a strenuous job then you may want to let them know sooner so there is less stress. good luck and God bless with your little one if you are if not still take care.

I wouldn't tell your work just yet, it's horrible to even think about but anything could happen (you don't want to jinx it!). Some employees are better than others with this situation.
I started showing around 3 months along. My appetite increased so much that I gained a few pounds before then but that's when other could really notice. (I was 5'7", 150lbs when I got pregnant so you may show sooner than I did.)

About 20 weeks you should be noticeable if this is your first pregnancy. I'm guessing it is! Good Luck! Oh, I would wait until 12 weeks to tell your employer, at 12 weeks your chances of a miscarriage go down.

You shouldn't sho until at least 4 months. your imagination can get you seeing what others don't see, just be calm, 4 months you will have a nice little roundness. It is so neat to be pregnant! I had 3 children and I love the feeling of them moving inside.

If this is your first baby, then it will be close to 6 months, before it become real obvious. I was close to the same size you are and that is how long it took with my first, then with my second it was about 3-4 months, before my clothes didn't fit and I had to pull out my pregnent clothes.
Good Luck

Hi Becca:
I would wait until you are 3 mths until you tell co-workers. Once at that point, you have a lower risk of miscarriage. If this is your first time, it will likely take longer for you to show. But I would guess that by 12 weeks you should notice your jeans won't button correctly anymore.

It will be really obvious after about 4 months.
But you should tell your work, the moment you know for sure that you are pregnant, so you and them (at work) could calculate your 'pregnancy' leave and 'reorganize' for your absence.
