They originated from possibly Asia when when the Neanderthals decided to migrate. That's possibly why your traits are the way they are unless your Irish ancestors mixed with another tribe from the East a long time ago. That Asian trait could have stayed dormant for ages. It could have been bred out over the generations of your Irish ancestors breeding with their own full blooded people, yet the Asian genetic traits could have stayed in you DNA until you were born. That is the only possibility of why you are Irish and have hazel eyes and brown hair.

never. Over the centuries the united kingdom has replaced irrevicably. This has an effect on even the way the brits stay thier lives right now. The Norman conquest as an occasion (Vikings), the Romans, the Spanish, French invasion. do not forget that Celtic languges (Scottish, Welsh and Irish) at the instant are not related to the different ecu language and certianly not German! The English surely had the biggest effect of all of those because of the fact the previous Saxon language died out interior the midsection a protracted time, the place the Celtic languages are nevertheless broadly used right now. The English language certianly has Germanic impacts even yet it has in basic terms as lots French and a few Nordic. The historic previous is huge yet there are some good explinations available.

I'm not really sure. My grandma has (used to have dark hair, it's grey now lol), brown eyes and olive skin and all she knows is she has Scottish and irish heritage. That doesn't mean to say that they didn't originate from somewhere though. My dad told me an old myth about spanish sailors being shipwrecked on the west coast of Ireland, however there is no evidence to back this fact up. So nobody knows if it's true or not. There are many theories about where the irish are from. Hope I helped. x

The origins...I have no idea, but you're not alone. My mother was 100% Irish and she had brown hair and hazel eyes.

I have heard that no one knows who the Tuatha de dannan were, and they were supposed to have started it. Then there were Celtic tribes like the Firbolgs. I'm going to look this all up and try to get back.
