I´m sure about it. And the Indian dude too. So.... can they open another night for "transexuals or gays", and have 4 shows a week, one for real men, one for women, one for sex non define and one for results? It´s unfair for the real men being there with all the gays, because they are going to vote for their genre, not for the quality of the sing.

Hey! I don´t hate gays.... i never said something like that. And i don´t tried to offend gay dudes. Is jut that they, as another kind of sex persons, need their own space, just like they have their own channel (logo).

Why does someones sexuality matter in a singing contest? They don't need to do separate nights for the contestants. They apparently should run some educational ads during the show, for the haters like you. There is nothing wrong with someone being gay, if he can sing he can sing, if he can't he can't. But by him being a heterosexual isn't going to somehow make him be a better singer. As for voting for your own kind, that's pretty lame too, if someone can sing better than someone else, you should vote for them. I agree with jayson's statements, I'm not even gay, and you've offended me. All my gay friends are real men and they would be pissed if I didn't stand up for them! You need to open your eyes and stop hating on people, vote for the person who sings the best, not the person you want to bang (or the person your afraid want to bang you, trust me gay guys AREN'T into straight guys)!

I was under the impression that American Idol was a singing competition but you seem to feel it's more of a "life choice competition". Why not go with the best singer and not worry about their sexual preference. Does being straight or gay really make a difference in who we enjoy singing? Do you purchase songs by ONLY straight men? I've really never paid attention to anything other then the song or the melody when I bought a CD. I plan to enjoy the show and best of luck to whomever wins..........

I would say yes he is... Being a gay man, I would still vote for whomever could sing the best. Your idea is total segregation and we have enough of that in society and in award shows. "it's unfair for the real men being there with all the gays" That's a very offensive statement, as I am a real gay man. You need to better educate yourself before you make ignorant statements like that.

I cannot believe that you would even ask about sexuality! I agree with everyone who asked, what does a person's sexual orientation have to do with how well one can sing? You are really what is wrong with this world. If you're not part of the solution you are part of the problem. Shame on you.

Well why don't we put all the morons of the world on an island and you can be their fearful leader (instead of their fearless leader). Grow up and like people for who they are accept that there are people in this world that are different from you and thats what makes this world great.

I don't think it should matter to any of us if contestants are gay or not. Its about talent. As a question of talent, I am not impressed with his talent.
