Final Fantasy X is an example. Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 could of been another example, but it's more of an action game.

I'm looking for a console game (prefer ps2).
Nothing dealing with "in bed" moments, just sad love stories with fighting in it.
IMO, I think those type of games make ultimate hits.

There are alot of them out there.
FF8, Dragon Quest 8, Star Ocean: Til the End of Time, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, Shadow Hearts: From the New World, etc etc... Harvest Moon (although thats for GC)
I am sure there are alot more out there than just this. Almost every console RPG includes some sort of romance, if for nothing else than to give the characters a motivation for killing lots of people other than for revenge or just because.

the original Neverwinter Nights. Stay away from NWN2... it's junk. But the first one and into the 2 major expansions had a really tender, sad romance story that threaded it's way through.

The Shadow Hearts series is excellent. If you want old school, Legend of Dragoon is good too.

Check out Maplestory..there are items you can buy to show your love for someone and you can even get married now that nexon has updated the game.

Xenogears and Xenosaga are excellent titles.
FF8 has an incredible love story in it as well, go find it!
