It's a toss-up. In a high school track and field workout, I ran uphill sprints to the point of muscle failure. That is to say, my legs couldn't hold me up any longer and I fell flat on my face.
A few years later, I was doing Pugel stick training in the Army. After three 3-minute rounds with another soldier, I was completely exhausted and ached for the rest of the day.

Over the summer season in my intense college preparation over the span of a million run I did - 15 miles - 11 hills - a million hour 40 seven minutes - 8,500 ft of elevation I took a 5 hour nap afterwords, and slept in until 12:30. It became not uncomplicated.

In the summer, my routine was running for thirty minutes, then doing pilates for an hour, then the basic exercises (pushups, crunches, situps)... I felt great until I had that slice of pizza which would guilt me into another long day of exercising. Vicious cycle.

My hardest workout was trying to remove all the food that was sitting on top of my ice-cream.
