I sometimes pretend that I am preparing the Millennium Falcon for the jump to lightspeed or having R2 lockdown a stabilizer.

Haha, dude, I went one further than that when I got my first car!

I had an electrician friend of mine install a switch box in my 1980 Buick Regal, above the stereo. It had red lighted, flip toggle switches in a black switch box.

On the front right and left of the windshield, on the support bars, I had 8 or 9 banks of small lights. Each switch controlled one pair, or bank, or lights on the windshield supports.

When I would go faster, I would activate more switches. The bottom pair of lights would turn on when the first toggle switch was flipped up, the 2nd pair of lights when the 2nd switch was flipped, etc. When I was going 60+ mph, my whole interior would glow red. That was just cool.

For added switches, I also had two (because one wasn't enough) of those 'Revenger' boxes, that you buy in a novelty store. It had buttons and sound effects for Warp Speed, Shields On, Lasers, Machine Guns, etc.

It was pretty cool...lol.

Hee hee - only one of my wipers works (thankfully it's on the driver's side) so at a stop light, I'll flip the switch and put it on the highest speed and act like I'm having a convulsion waiting to be beamed up. I think it's funny but people think I'm weird. Go figure.

Haha, yeah, sometimes it seems that you're getting ready for take-off, doesn't it? We goof around once in a while and start pushing on miscellaneous buttons, too...."Engaging turbo sequence...."

What's scary is getting in a new car and can't find the door handle to get out.

I sometimes have my wife do a point check with me like:

"Cigarette Lighter"
*click* "Check"
"Hazard Lights"
*click-click* "That's an affirmative on the H-Lights, over"
"Blinker"
*click-click* "We have negative function on the blinker"
"Noted. Continue"
