For a professional setting, I would say 1 to 3" with a closed toe.

It really depends on the work environment and the office. If the office is extermeley conservative, probably 2-3 inches at max. My office is a bit more young and not as conservative so we can wear the stilettos and 4 inch heels at work which my boss wears as well.

abut 2 to a 3 inch heel is nice. You don't want to go too high because they would not be comfortable especially if you have to stand and walk around alot.

well I work in an office and I would have to say 2 in" cause I think any thing higher would make you look like a street walker no matter what else you wearing and it can be very uncomfortable

ive worn 3-4 inch. but im a short girl and dont wear the short skirts. if u wear pants or knee length skirt then ur shoes/legs wont get that much attention

u should ask ur boss for the dress code policy, it should be stated in there. if not then i dont think there is, as long as they are not clear platforms or hooker boots then they are ok to wear at work.

Are you on your feet all day or sit alot?
How high are you comfortable walking in?

As long as you can walk as far as you need to in them, you should be able to go as high as you want.
